Enabling Gardens Information
Gardening is to me such a Spirit-Renewing activity that I love sharing it with others. I recently had the opportunity to do some research on creating gardens for those with limited abilities. I promised at the presentation to have links to websites with adaptive tools and other info that I found very helpful:
Disability Viewpoints TV Show
Teri was invited by the United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota to talk about Enabling Gardens on Disability Viewpoints, a public television cable access show in Minneapolis. Teri’s segment is the last half of the show.
The Enabling Garden
Here’s a great mini article from the book The Enabling Garden, by Gene Rothert, from the University of Illinois Extension Service web site.
I recommend buying his book, The Enabling Garden: Creating Barrier-free Gardens.
