Gardening is to me such a Spirit-Renewing activity that I love sharing it with others. I recently had the opportunity to do some research on creating gardens for those with limited abilities. I promised at the presentation to have links to websites with adaptive tools and other info that I found very helpful:
Disability Viewpoints TV Show
Teri was invited by the United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota to talk about Enabling Gardens on Disability Viewpoints, a public television cable access show on CTV15 in the northern Twin City suburbs.
The Enabling Garden
The Enabling Garden, by Gene Rothert, from the University of Illinois Extension Service, is a fantastic book. Here’s a link to the Chicago Botanic Garden where Rothert worked for years and created this beautiful space.
I recommend buying his book, The Enabling Garden: Creating Barrier-free Gardens.
