About Teri Knight

“The garden is no place to stress for success, but to soak up some sun and renew your Spirit” Teri Knight.

GARDEN BITE … is a delightful dance down the garden path! A place to find practical tips peppered with personality. Teri believes the garden is a place to learn, to play, to contemplate, to renew your mind, body and spirit.

“The whole concept of “Garden Bite” came from my desire to share gardening basics with the person who wants to get their hands dirty but might be a little apprehensive about digging in. There are NO Martha Stewarts here! It’s not about perfection, it’s about enjoying the road to it! It’s Wabi Sabi (Imperfect Beauty). I want the viewer/listener to go out in the garden with a little more confidence and a lot less fear of killing their plants, after all, some die!”

A shift toward caring for our Earth has revived interest in our own backyards. Gardening offers a great way to head toward healthier living by not only growing your own vegetables and herbs but working in your garden is a great way to exercise without paying for a gym membership! And the bonus of flowers and shrubs the neighbors would love to have!!

This show is for the “backyard to balcony” gardener; the person who gets off work and unwinds pulling a weed or two; someone who gets a kick out of growing some veggies and herbs or just enjoys the smell of fresh flowers.  The “weekend weed warrior”.

Supplementing the show is Teri’s website (www.gardenbite.com) with daily updates to compliment the 2 minute radio program.
